James Doyle, Jr. is the executive director and founding member of ProVenture (Far East) Ltd, one of the leading, worldwide providers of beauty care instruments. The companywas started by three entrepreneurs in 1997.
Jim is chairman of Baycross Christian Family Foundation, a charitable organization focusing on meeting the needs especially of homeless families in Southwest Florida. He also serves on the board of the directors of the Lee Memorial Health System Foundation, which includes the Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida.
He received his M.B.A. from Northwestern University and began his career at Johnson & Johnson Domestic Operating Company. He joined Bausch & Lomb Inc. as vice president of New Ventures Marketing and was later appointed president of Bausch & Lomb’s Oral Care Division. He went on to become executive vice president of Moen Inc., maker of plumbing products, in Cleveland.
The son of a retired faculty member of the Simon Business School, Jim established the James N. Doyle, Sr. Professorship in Entrepreneurship to honor his father’s commitment to entrepreneurship education at Simon. In 2012, Ronald Goettler was installed as the inaugural Doyle Professor. Jim has guest lectured in Simon School entrepreneurship classes and continues to provide intellectual and financial resources to strengthen the program.
He and his wife, Ivoneia Conceicao Doyle, live in Sarasota, Florida.
