2015 Award Recipient

Robert Dorr

Deeply connected as an advisor, mentor, and volunteer, Robert Dorr is one of Simon Business School’s most influential allies. A senior member of the high yield credit sales team at J.P. Morgan Chase in New York City, he previously grew the firm’s leverage finance practice in Europe and became co-head of the loan and mezzanine debt capital markets before returning to New York City. Instrumental in advancing the University’s strategy in London, Rob is passionate about giving back to the School. A trusted member of the Simon Executive Advisory Committee, he also helps extend the School’s reach to the Westchester-Fairfield Counties area where his dynamic involvement is helping engage alumni and encourage them to take on leadership roles at the University. A steadfast sponsor of the Simon New York City Conference, he generously donates seats to students so they experience a variety of current topics of significant interest to the business community. Selfless with his time, Rob advocates for University and Simon placements at J.P. Morgan and enthusiastically serves as a mentor to numerous individual students. A familiar face at regional alumni gatherings, he has been a dedicated host, presenter, and supporter. It is with deep pride and enormous gratitude that we present this award to Rob Dorr for his influence as a volunteer and advisor, and his tireless dedication and invaluable contributions to Simon.
